Business Card

Summer is around the corner, my husband and my brother-in-law decided to run a small summer business t o make some extra cash by repairing people's roofing. They asked if I could design a business card for them, and I agreed. This may be an opportunity for me to show off my creativity and to promote my design at the same time. It took me about two to three hours to have the design and the logo finished. We then took it to Kinko’s and have them printed on an eight by eleven inches paper. Each page contained about eight business cards, and then we cut it down to the standard business card sized after it printed. We printed about 225 cards and it costs us ONLY $30-35 dollar which are very cheap. The business card turned out great and it looks very professional. I'm happy with the outcome.

Printed Pieces

I seriously need to take some photography lessons. By the way, these are my designs work that I have done in the past, it is not one of my top favorite pieces, but I'd spent a lot of times on it.  However I'm still learning and trying to achieve my goal and to become a successful designer and I'm making my way there.

2010 Layout Sponsorship Packet

Okay, so here it goes. This is another Annual Conference packet design for this (2010). The logo was designed by one of my co-worker, Allisa. (She's great!) Well, anyway I then took Allisa's logo idea and incorporated it into my layout design. I loved how I can design it freely, and this time my design was a little bit different compared to the previous years. This year design is more energetic, crazy and fun and I like it and my boss loves it! By the way, this is for show; I hope I don't get in some kind of troubles for showing it off.

2009 Layout Booklet

This design was designed for 2009 conferences, it was for the company that I currently employed. . Anyway the design contained eight pages total. Every year they held an Annual Conference at the Embassy Suits Hotel in Lincoln. My responsibility was to come up with the layout themes and the color, as well as other design such as; logos, mailers, postcards, invitations, lanyards and a lot more. Overall I'm very impressed with the design, it turned out great and people love it. The feedback from the attendees were great as well, and that is almost everything the designer (me) wish for. All those time that I’ve spent on this project and my hard worked had finally payoff. YEAH!

School Projects

These were my old school projects, it had been five years seen I looked at this again, and my first thought was not as happy as I thought I was compared to five years ago. I did not like it as much as I used to. It seems so "normal" "unattractive" and so "Ugly". Maybe I am not that artistic as I thought I was. I've had saw so many other greatest art works out there, their crazy designs are absolutely unbelievable amazing! And I was inspired by their hard works. Anyway here are a few examples of my artworks in the past.

Chinese Bamboo "The one rule stoke line"
Year: 2005
It was my first time I used water painting color and brushes. It was not that difficult to use the water color technique, but what made it so difficult was the project and the 'ONE RULE STOKE LINE". My instructor will not accept the painting if my painting went over more then one stoke. But I was amazed by myself after I tried for more then ten times and being satisfied with the grade he gave me. A+!

COKE "America's most loved drink!"
Year:2006
School project. The most well known drink!
Did she looked familiar to you? And yes this is Aaliyah. I had to paint a portrait of a famous death person and Aaliyah was my final choices. I thought she was very beautiful and very talented. This master piece of mind was done by pastel.
