This was one of my school project while in college. I had to pick out a local business and re-design their campaign such as; logo, poster, ads and brochure.
Shela is a women fashion boutique that is target at customers at age 35 and older. Before I came up with this design I'd made a stop at their store and speak to one of Shela's sale associates and asked them to provided me with some information to help me completed my project. Unfortunately they had nothing, no business card, no coupons, no brochures. I was so disappointed and do not know how to begin this project. So I spent about five minutes wandering around the store to get the feeling of their theme color and style. I went back to my class and looked for some for information on the internet. Luckily I found their website at
http://www.shopshela.com and came up with the design from there and blah blah...
I submitted my designs in for the 2008
ADDYS competitions through my school, and I won a silver
Addys award for this campaign. I did not expected to win at all, so I was pretty amazed with myself when I got this award.
Yes, I'd redesigned their logo as well. (This is not for commercial used, it is for school purposes only.)
