Kd final stationary

I have finally made my final decision! This will be the final logo that I will used to identify my work. It will be the only logo that I will use from now and so on. Just to have a logo that fitted me well, I have been wasting so much of my times to come up with many different ideas. This is ridiculous to say but I have had came up not less than 20 logos in the previous year. So hopefully I will not change my mind and keep the logo as long as I could. Above image is my self/final logo, by business card, and my brochure. Can't wait to see how are these going to look like after it prints. :)

2008 ADDYs Award Winner

This was one of my school project while in college. I had to pick out a local business and re-design their campaign such as; logo, poster, ads and brochure. Shela  is a women fashion boutique that is target at customers at age 35 and older. Before I came up with this design I'd made a stop at their store and speak to one of Shela's sale associates and asked them to provided me with some information to help me completed my project. Unfortunately they had nothing, no business card, no coupons, no brochures. I was so disappointed and do not know how to begin this project. So I spent about five minutes wandering around the store to get the feeling of their theme color and style. I went back to my class and looked for some for information on the internet. Luckily I found their website at http://www.shopshela.com and came up with the design from there and blah blah...

I submitted my designs in for the 2008 ADDYS competitions through my school, and I won a silver Addys award for this campaign. I did not expected to win at all, so I was pretty amazed with myself when I got this award.


Yes, I'd redesigned their logo as well. (This is not for commercial used, it is for school purposes only.)

Wedding Album Design

I'm going to confess to myself, that I am also a Wedding Album Designer. I picked up this side job last August when an old friend  from high school, Son aimed me up through Facebook and offered me the position as his album designer.(Which I have never thought  of designing something like this before.) Oh and did I mentioned that he is a photographer? Anyway all the images are copyright by sonluan.com and the layouts was designed by me. After the album was fully completed Son sent it in to the printing company and got it printed.  The result was impressive even through I have not have a chance to see it yet.

2010 Layout Sponsorship Packet

Okay, so here it goes. This is another Annual Conference packet design for this (2010). The logo was designed by one of my co-worker, Allisa. (She's great!) Well, anyway I then took Allisa's logo idea and incorporated it into my layout design. I loved how I can design it freely, and this time my design was a little bit different compared to the previous years. This year design is more energetic, crazy and fun and I like it and my boss loves it! By the way, this is for show; I hope I don't get in some kind of troubles for showing it off.

2009 Layout Booklet

This design was designed for 2009 conferences, it was for the company that I currently employed. . Anyway the design contained eight pages total. Every year they held an Annual Conference at the Embassy Suits Hotel in Lincoln. My responsibility was to come up with the layout themes and the color, as well as other design such as; logos, mailers, postcards, invitations, lanyards and a lot more. Overall I'm very impressed with the design, it turned out great and people love it. The feedback from the attendees were great as well, and that is almost everything the designer (me) wish for. All those time that I’ve spent on this project and my hard worked had finally payoff. YEAH!
